Gene McCain

Gene McCain, a tax controversy attorney for the firm, has extensive experience both in the legal and accounting disciplines. He graduated from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene with a B.B.A. in Accounting. After college, Gene went on to South Texas College of Law in Houston where he received his law degree. He has managed a variety of legal areas including federal and state taxation and other litigation as well as estate planning. In addition to being an attorney, Gene is also a CPA. He has an extensive background dealing with the IRS and state of Texas for tax controversy matters. He has experience with these two parties ranging from administrative relief to litigation.

 


Adam Potter

Adam obtained his undergraduate degree in forensic accounting from Sam Houston State University, and his law degree from South Texas College of Law, where he was a member of Law Review, graduating near the top of his class. Adam has over 15 years of combined litigation and transactional experience. His areas of expertise include general civil and business litigation, commercial transactions, employment matters, business entity selection, formation and continuation, and estate planning.
